In the past, Guro district was an Industrial Complex which holds the memories and lessons of history. Unfortunately, nowadays people lost the memory of that time in which this city was able to be woven one-by-one through the sacrifice of labor class. In additional, this design competition aims to make Guro Labor Welfare Center be a Multi-use building, it’s mean our design need to share more public spaces with more people. It gives identity to the street and invites people to the interior by creating a lacking space in the city.
